Naval Interior: Work in Progress, Between Deliveries and Excitement

It is always thrilling to see the grand ships for which we have had the honour and privilege to work on. And in recent weeks, emotions have been plentiful, just like the ones we are about to experience.

Italian Style for Celebrity’s Immersive Decks

Just a few months ago, Celebrity Beyond was completed as the third vessel in the Edge-class series for Celebrity Cruises, a subsidiary of the American company Royal Caribbean. It came to life at the Chantiers de l’Atlantique shipyard in Saint Nazaire. However, some of the luxurious environments that comprise it were born in our workshops in Pozzallo, Sicily. Among these are all the elements that make up the Oceanview Café on Deck 14 and the enchanting Immersive Tunnel on Deck 5.

Furnishings and Finishes for Viking’s Luxurious Dining

But Celebrity Beyond is not the only success of recent weeks: Viking Mars (photo), owned by Viking Cruises, was recently delivered at the Fincantieri shipyard in Ancona. Designed by prestigious architects, including the teams from Rottet Studio in Los Angeles and SMC Design in London, it represents an elegant and functional concept that embodies Scandinavian style. We contributed to the ship’s construction by fully outfitting the dining areas: the Cooking School, the Supper Club (Chef’s Table & Italian Grill, Private Dining Rooms), and the Alternative Restaurant. Other spaces are already under construction for two more Viking ships: Neptune (scheduled for delivery in mid-November 2022) and Saturn (end of April 2023).

4.0 Technology and Italian Flair for a Terrace on the Sea

We are currently in full swing constructing other luxurious pieces of furniture in our workshops and carpentry shops. These pieces will furnish the “La Terrazza” space on the Silver Nova project (owned by Silversea, a cruise line within the Royal Caribbean Group, also based in the United States). In addition to our artisans’ craftsmanship and advanced 4.0 construction techniques, we are infusing the space dedicated to fine dining with the taste and sophistication of the Made in Italy style. The completion of the project is scheduled for the middle of next year, and we are filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement.

Luxury Meets Relaxation for the Princess of the Seas

Meanwhile, we are completing the work for another marvel of the seas: Princess Sphere One, the new creation for Princess Cruises, a subsidiary of the Carnival Corporation. For such an elegant and refined vessel, we have created two original spaces, the Magic Hour Bar and the Club Class, where luxury meets relaxation in the best Italian-style mood. Our flexible and cutting-edge design solutions have allowed us to achieve high-quality craftsmanship and finishes using precious, top-notch materials.
